STOCK CONTROL MANAGER

Responsibilities

Processing: Initial sign off of P.O’s Expediting ordersContact suppliers to confirm shipment dates and input/amend arrival dates on the systemAs key point of contact, liaise with senior managers and main external suppliers to: coordinate activities during periods of increased sales activity; ensure timely and efficient flow of information; maintain proactive communicationParts orders and replenishmentMonitoring of warranty claims and rebatesPrice listing - working closely with MarketingReporting: Use market conditions and historical data to analyse stock levels and forecast future demandsControl the information flow to Buyers for a stipulated group of suppliers and products to determine future buying quantitiesProduce periodical reports for the Sales, Buying and Marketing teams to help target their promotionsProduce the monthly PI reportProduce the month end stock reports and KPI’s for managementProduce ad hoc analysis reports when requestedMaintenance and updating:

Stock master file maintenanceManage the Sales Inventory Monitoring Systems to maintain optimum product profiles throughout the store and warehousing networkControl the phasing in and out of seasonal and new products whilst maximising availability and sales opportunitiesControl the management of the internet and telesales stock availability and hold flags to maximise sales opportunities whilst minimising customer disappointmentRegular reviews of over-stocked itemsDevelopment of new systems, work practices and controls with the General ManagerUse Excel and stock system skills to continually update and improve system and processing efficiency

Stock takes:

Annual stock take count at NDC- Assist with warehouse physical inventories and subsequent reconciliation (off site) and manage any discrepancies appropriatelyProduce year end stock take reports and update systemPerpetual stock counts with NDC
