I am currently recruiting on behalf of a business who are looking for an Engineering Stores / Stock Assistant to support a 4 months fixed term - stock organisation and inventory project.     You don''t need to be an engineer or have extensive technical knowledge. We''re looking for someone who is methodical, comfortable working through large quantities of stock and takes pride in getting the details right.      The role      You''ll be helping to reorganise and accurately record stock held within the site''s engineering stores. Around 70% of the inventory consists of smaller components such as bearings, nuts, bolts, fasteners and sensors.      Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:    Unpacking, sorting and organising engineering spare parts  Accurately counting stock and recording quantities  Updating Excel spreadsheets or handwritten stock records  Labelling and maintaining an organised stores environment  Handling and moving stock boxes weighing up to 20kg  Working alongside the Engineering team, who can assist with identifying unfamiliar parts         What we''re looking for      You could come from a s...</description>
