Stick Welder

Jaberu Recruitment are working in Partnership with our client to source a skilled Stick/ MMA Welder to join our clients project team. You will be based between the Forth Rail and Tay Bridges. As Stick Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, including Stick welding, while ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are adhered to. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication techniques and the ability to work with different materials, including sheet metal and 6-10mm fillet weld. Responsibilities Perform Stick welding on various materials, ensuring precision and quality in all welds. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication and assembly tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements. Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in the fabrication of components as per project specifications, ensuring accuracy in measurements and assembly. Qualifications Proven experience in welding, with proficiency in Stick welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
