The successful candidate will be responsible for organising, erecting and supervising the installation of structural steelwork and other metal works such as staircases and secondary steelwork across various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of structural installation and the hands on supervison of an installation team. The role is provided with a fleet van complete with the latest Hilti power tools. Responsibilities Erecting steel frameworks, beams, and structural components on-site AP ticket preferred, if not currently held, willing to undergo AP course Cutting, welding and assembling steel structures according to technical drawings Using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently Troubleshoot and execute remedies on site Fabrication of metal components for structural or decorative purposes Reading technical drawings to determine specifications and measurements Supervision and responsibility of the installation of steel structures ensuring alignment and stability Performing routine inspections to identify potential issues...
