Permanent, full-time position based in Hamilton. Salary Fully negotiable, depending on experience + full benefits Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates for steel and metalwork projects. Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Produce detailed labour, material and equipment cost breakdowns. Liaise with project managers, engineers, suppliers and clients to gather pricing information. Monitor material costs and supplier pricing. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards. Support the preparation of bids and tender submissions. Maintain accurate records of estimates, revisions and supporting documentation. Provide ongoing cost analysis and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle. Carry out site surveying and measurement where required. Skills and Experience Previous experience as a Steel Estimator, Metalwork Estimator, Surveyor or similar.
