Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement bars (rebar) or mesh to required dimensions using hand tools, power tools, and bending machines.
Secure steel bars in the correct position using wire, clips, or welding.
Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and tolerance according to project requirements.
Install spacers, chairs, and other supports to maintain rebar position during concreting.
Work closely with formwork carpenters and concrete teams to coordinate installation.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow site safety rules, wear protective equipment, and comply with health and safety regulations.
