This is a hands-on stores role within a busy industrial environment, working with steel and other materials to support day-to-day production operations. The Role: As a Steel Stores Person, your responsibilities will include: Receiving, checking and storing steel and other materials Loading and unloading materials safely Moving steel around the site using a forklift and overhead crane Preparing materials for production Keeping the stores and yard organised and tidy Completing basic stock and stores records Using a computer for basic stock and administrative tasks Following company health and safety procedures Supporting the wider production team when required About You: We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working in a busy industrial environment.
