Steel Operative

A Steel Operative / Stacker is required to join a large steel firm located in the Handsworth Birmingham area on a temporary basis.

You will be responsible for working on the back end of a guillotine, stacking sheet steel. The role is temporary to start with, and while it may end up being long-term, it also may end up lasting for just a few weeks.

• Manual handling
• Stacking sheet steel on the back end of a guillotine
• Banding up and wrapping
• Any other duties as and when required

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have experience in the steel industry, but other factory / industrial experience will be considered.

Working hours for this role would be straight days -

• 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday / 6:30am - 2:30pm Fridays
• Paying - -12.71 per hour
