Steel Operative

A Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator is required for an established steel processing company based in the Burntwood area of the West Midlands, working a permanent 6am-2pm morning shift.

You will be operating cranes, banding up processed steel coils on the back end of a slitting line and stacking blanks on the back end of a blanking line, alongside associated duties.

Duties of this Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator role include;

• Operating overhead cranes
• Banding up processed steel coils
• Stacking processed steel blanks
• Palletising, wrapping and preparing orders for dispatch

You will be working a permanent morning shift pattern -

• 6am - 2pm (Monday - Friday)

This Steel Operative / Bander role will be working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities available.

The role is paying -13.73 per hour, with weekly pay whilst on the agency.
