Job Title: Steel Fixer - National Grid Substation Project - NG Person ESSENTIALLocation: Pilmoor Substation, York, YO61 2QF.Sector: Power / Substations (National Grid)Job Type: ContractStart Date: ASAPDuration: Until January 2027Pay: 32/hour CISHours: 50 hours per week (Early finish on Fridays)The Role:We are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers to work on a National Grid 400kV substation project in York.This is a great opportunity to get onto a live substation site, supporting in-situ foundation works within a substation building.Key Responsibilities:Steel fixing for in-situ concrete foundationsWorking with pre-cut and bent reinforcement barEnsuring all works are carried out to specification and drawingsMaintaining high standards of health and safety within a live substation environmentWorking closely with site teams to meet programme deadlinesRequirements:Proven experience as a Steel Fixer on infrastructure or substation projectsAbility to read and interpret drawingsExperience working in live or controlled environments (highly beneficial)Strong understanding of site safety and proceduresTickets:National Grid PersonAny tickets relevant to steel works and fixingRates and Package: 32/hour50 hours per weekEarly finish every FridayWorks unitl January 2027Additional Information:Working on a National Grid 400kV substationImmediate start availableOpportunity to gain experience on a high-value infrastructure projectContact:For more information or to apply, contact:Jack ..... full job details .....
