Job Title: Steel Fabricator/Welder
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hrs per week with 1/2 hr lunch unpaid (7:00am to 3:30pm)
Salary: £20.00 per hour plus overtime paid at 1.5 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld metal components to spec
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Use MIG, TIG, and MMA welding techniques
• Assemble balcony stacks, balustrades, staircases, and railings
• Perform quality checks and maintain equipment
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the workshop

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ MIG welding experience
• 3+ years’ metal fabrication experience (preferred)
• Skilled in TIG welding and the use of power tools
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Good engineering knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• C/B Forklift licence desirable
