This is a hands-on position within a busy manufacturing environment, responsible for the safe handling, stacking and distribution of steel sections and associated materials throughout the factory. The role would suit someone with previous experience working with Overhead Cranes who is comfortable handling heavy materials and working in a fast-paced industrial environment. The Role You will be responsible for: Operating overhead cranes to move steel sections and packages around the factory. Stacking steel from the saws into organised packages. Distributing steel packages throughout the manufacturing facility. Organising plates, fittings and other materials. Selecting and arranging products for internal and external orders. Ensuring materials are correctly identified and positioned. Carrying out manual handling duties safely. Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
