Steel Analyst

Reed Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading organisation in the metals market

About You

We are looking for someone who ideally is from a metals (steel) or engineering background who is confident at analysing steel prices and trends globally

Essential:

• Proven experience within the steel market or a closely related sector
• Strong understanding of steel pricing structures (stainless and/or carbon steel)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to scrutinise complex data
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

Desirable:

• Knowledge across both stainless and carbon steel markets
• Foreign language skills would be advantageous although not essential
