Statutory Accounting Senior Required

OverviewWe are seeking a diligent and experienced Accounts and Tax Senior

Fortis Accountants is a well-established firm based in Hammersmith. With a stable and dedicated team, the firm offers a range of services including accounting, VAT, tax and advisory to a strong portfolio of clients.

Role Description

Prepare and review corporate tax returns and financial statements under FRS105 and FRS102a

Provide tax and accounting advice to clients.

Exposure to industries such as property, hospitality, energy and education.

Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Identify and resolve tax and accounting issues.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Assist with workflow and job planning

The ability to work under minimal supervision is essential

Profile

Professional certification (ACCA, ACA or CPA) + at least 2 years PQE.

Should show career / job stability in last roles

Proven experience in tax and accounting in a professional services setting.

Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Xero or QuickBooks and Microsoft Office,

Proficiency in CCH will be an advantage

The successful applicant will have 2+ years of post-qualification experience and be confident in liaising with clients in person, over the phone and via email.
