Stator Winder

Rubicon Consulting-is currently recruiting for a Stator Winder on a 6 month rolling contract based in Warwickshire.

Role Summary

We''re recruiting experienced stator winders for a contract with a leading manufacturer of large electric motors and generators in Warwickshire. You''ll be winding multi-MW HV machines used in energy, industrial and marine applications.

Responsibilities

• Fitting slot liners and inserting form-wound coils
• Wedging and packing
• End-winding bracing and blocking
• Brazing connections (induction and flame)
• Connecting and cabling
• Working to engineering drawings and quality procedures

Requirements

• Proven stator winding experience on MV/HV motors or generators
• Hands-on coil insertion, not just coil prep or taping
• Brazing experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and a safe way of working
• VPI or HV testing experience
• A background in a rewind shop or with an OEM
