Contract until the end of the year (initially) likely extensionInside IR35 up to £52.57 per hour umbrellaHybrid working 60% on siteJob Role:The role is for a Static Stress Engineer to perform the stress analysis for Wing structures.The tasks will include investigations into potential design improvements and their impact upon the structure supporting trade studies. It will also involve documentation of static justifications of Modifications and Risk Assessment of In-service Occurrences.Key Responsibilities: Production and collation of data to enable trade studies and impact analysis to be performed, potentially RF mitigationsStatic Stress Analysis of Fixed Wing structures using company PMTsCompilation of static stress certification dossiers (composites and metallics)Pre-approval check / approval of dossiers if a delegated signatoryClose working with the Wing teamsProgress reporting to the Delivery Team LeaderFunctionally reporting to the Senior/Lead Stress on the Work Package Key Attributes:Essential: Proven experience within an aerospace environmentProven ''hands on'' experience of airframe certification analysis, In-Service, etcStrength in problem solving for analysis solutionsAbility to meet the agreed delivery plan and report progression of deliverables Desirable: Degree in Engineering or relevant disciplineDelegated signatoryStrong working knowledge of Nastran, Hyperworks, Python scripting and ISAMIKnowledge of Wing ..... full job details .....
