Static Multi-Skilled Engineer

Randstad C&P are currently seeking an experienced Static Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our clients Facilities Management team on a static commercial site in Darlington. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance and reactive services across a wide range of building systems.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive repairs, with a primary focus on plumbing, heating, and gas systems.
• Perform a wide range of plumbing tasks, including leak detection and repair, pipework modifications, and fixture maintenance.
• Conduct servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on gas boilers and other gas appliances.
• Apply your skills across other trades, including minor electrical work and general building maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and statutory regulations, with a strong focus on Gas Safe protocols and point-of-work risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including details of completed tasks, materials used, and any follow-up actions required.

• NVQ Level 3 or equiavlent (City and Guilds) in Plumbing
• Commercial Gas Safe qualifications (desirable) i.e. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1, TPCP1/TPCP1A, ICPN1
• An F-Gas Category 1 qualification is also desired.
• Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled or maintenance role, ideally in a commercial or static site environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Clean UK drivers licence and own Vehicle
