A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team at a high-profile government site. This is a permanent, full-time position offering stability, professional growth, and the chance to work on a prestigious contract within a critical environment.Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on building services systems (lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, etc).Diagnose faults and implement timely repairs to minimise downtime.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements.Complete service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation accurately.Support site operations by responding quickly to urgent issues and maintaining strong communication with the facilities team.Participate in an on-call rota where required.Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.Experience in electrical fault finding and maintenance within commercial or public buildings.Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team.Excellent communication and reporting skills.Desirable: Test and Inspection (2391 or equivalent).Experience working on government or secure sites.Familiarity with CAFM systems.Benefits
