Are you a Static Building Services Engineer with service and maintenance experience in high-end commercial sites?
 
We''re working with a leading building services company that manages a portfolio of prestigious commercial properties across the region. Due to new contract wins, they are looking for a Static Building Services Engineer to join the team at a site in Manchester.
 
This role is all about keeping the site running smoothly and safely. You''ll be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, looking after HIUs (Heat Interface Units), and ensuring plant rooms and communal areas are maintained to the highest standard.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, and general building services.
• Knowledge and experience of Heat Interface Units (HIU)
• Initial fault finding of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning plant
• Water temp checks, Legionella testing, TMVs, flushing, pumps, motors, AHUs, and FCUs.
• General plumbing tasks (like-for-like replacements, servicing).
• Ensure statutory compliance and maintain safe site operations.

Skills and Experience:

• Background in HVAC, M&E, plumbing, or multi-skilled building services.
• Qualified in either Mechanical (Air Conditioning, Gas, or Plumbing) OR Electrical.
• Previous experience within a commercial plant room environment.
• Strong service mindset and proactive approach to maintenance.
