TherolePinehill Hospital are currently lookingfor a Staff Nurse, reporting to the OPD Manager to join the OPD andPAC team.

You will be an integral part of the team who arecommitted to delivering the highest quality clinicaloutcomes.

Your duties willinclude:•

Undertakepre-operative assessment of patients awaiting elective surgeryacross all specialities•

The keyfocus is to ensure that patients are prepared physically andpsychologically for a planned operative procedure, ensuringappropriate information provision and identifying potentialdischarge concerns.•

Theapplicant is expected to be a role model for junior staff andstudent nurses.•

To be an accountablepractitioner, taking every opportunity to sustain and improveknowledge and professional competence•To provide support to the PAC Lead in effectively leading andmanaging the PAC department.

Whatyou’ll bring with you•Registered with the NMC•

Provenability to work in a team or independently as required •

Able to use own initiative and take chargeof the PAC department / deputise for the PAC Sister in theirabsence•

Flexible and committed tomaintaining and improving patient experience and able to adapt tochange as we continue to develop our service to meet the needs ofour patients•

Enthusiastic /promoting positive attitude at work•Demonstrates a good working knowledge and compliance withRamsay Policies and CQC Standards•Sound written and verbal communication skills •
