Site: Golders Green Outpatients - The Wellington Hospital
Full time: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week (4 days), 2 Sunday Mornings per month
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: This role offers a competitive salary dependent on experience.We’re looking for a Paediatric Staff Nurse to join our Wellington Team at the The Wellington Outpatient and Diagnostic Centre, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.Responsibilities
Care for and support children and young people and work alongside their families in conjunction with other healthcare professionals within The Wellington HospitalTo participate in implementation of policies for paediatrics servicesTo participate in setting up of new services for paediatrics within HCA WDOC and ElstreeSafeguarding link of paediatrics and children within the TWHParticipate in risk assessments for the serviceParticipate in audits to ensure the safe delivery of careTo support and be actively involved in the adult outpatient services, especially when there are no paediatric patients in the facilityTo work as part of the outpatient team, in the adult and paediatric mixed environment, helping to support the cleanliness of the environment and flow of clinics for all patients.Qualifications and experience
Registered Nurse – with valid NMCMinimum of at least 2 years’ experience post registrationAwareness of Child Protection issues – Safeguarding level 3 training essentialPaediatric ILS mandatoryWhy HCA UK?
