Staff Investigator

Role: Staff InvestigatorLocation: Ashford, KentContract Length: 6 to 12 Months Salary: £30,000 to £35,000Randstad has partnered with a dedicated public sector organisation to recruit for this position.The roleIn this role, you''ll be at the forefront of supporting ongoing and reopened child exploitation and group-based exploitation investigations. You will provide operational support and undertake quality assurance of incidents and intelligence to strengthen the identification and understanding of exploitation. This ensures the effective identification, response to, and disruption of these crimes across the force in compliance with policies and procedures. This will include working with internal units and external partners. This role will also require working with victims in alignment to trauma-informed practice, ensuring all safeguarding and support is provided or signposted to.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage actively with the investigation of current and non-recent exploitation and group-based exploitation to provide operational support.Support operational activities including victim engagement, ABE interviews, witness statements, undertaking and commissioning research, progressing communications data enquiries, supporting warrant applications, and developing effective partnership engagement.Support the disruption of exploitation, including the effective use of partner agencies and statutory powers to reduce offending opportunities and protect vulnerable children from further ..... full job details .....
