Staff Cover Supervisor: Pre-Prep

STAFF COVER SUPERVISOR: PRE-PREP One Year Contract HOURS: 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (term time) RATES OF PAY: Job Evaluated Classroom Assistant Rates: SCP Point 11-14 (£28,142 - £29,540 pro rata) JOB DESCRIPTION The Wallace High School Pre-Prep requires a staff cover supervisor to cover the Pre-Prep room (ages range from 2 years 10 months to age 4) during staff lunch rotation from 1pm - 2pm, Monday - Friday during term time, ensuring Pre-Prep continues to run smoothly and within appropriate adult-child ratios at all times. The Lunchtime Supervisor will work in conjunction with one member of Pre-Prep staff throughout this time. Responsibilities and Duties To work as part of the team, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all, providing seamless care so children experience no disruption to their routine; To care for and supervise the children, forming relationships with them; engaging them in activities as planned by the staff within the room; Be aware of, and adhere to, all policies and procedures within the Pre-Prep setting; Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe environment for the children; Bring any issues relating to the care of the children to the attention of the room supervisor/manager; Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times; Maintain high professional standards at all times.
