SRB Teaching Assistant

Primary School Teaching Assistant (SRB) Cardiff Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Primary School Teaching Assistant for a full-time role within an SRB in a Primary School in Cardiff. You will support pupils in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment, working closely with the Class Teacher to raise engagement and learning outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Provide general classroom support across the school day Work in partnership with the Class Teacher to plan and maintain an inclusive learning environment Support pupils with ALN and additional learning needs, ensuring appropriate classroom strategies are followed Manage and support pupils displaying challenging behaviour, using calm, consistent approaches Support effective learning routines, engagement, and positive relationships Essential requirements: Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour Experience working with children with ALN, SEND, or related additional needs A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Ability to work effectively as part of a team, taking direction from the Class Teacher while offering proactive support Working details: Location: Cardiff Role: Primary School Teaching Assistant (SRB) Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Pay: 92.59 per day minimum Vetro Recruitment acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment ..... full job details .....
