Sr. Manager, Supplier Development and Training – LEGO GroupThe LEGO Group is seeking a Sr. Manager, Supplier Development and Training to lead a multi-year supplier capability building strategy focused on sustainability, empowering both external supply chain partners and internal procurement teams.Overview
The Sustainable Sourcing team is a global function within the Global Procurement organization. The team advances LEGO Group’s ESG agenda by driving supplier sustainability performance and aligns with Corporate Sustainability, Responsible Operations, and other functions to deliver long-term value.Responsibilities
Drive the development and deployment of an integrated, multi-year sustainability capability building strategy for external supply chain partners and internal LEGO procurement team membersIntegrate existing supplier sustainability training to provide a single, consistent message to suppliersIdentify opportunities for capability building to drive supplier performanceDevelop supplier communication and training materials in partnership with other LEGO functions, leveraging existing training platforms and approaches where appropriateCollaborate with stakeholders to continuously update and improve training to meet regulatory and stakeholder expectationsProactively identify gaps in supplier performance and align training strategies with supply chain prioritiesPartner with Corporate Sustainability, Responsible Operations and other teams to enhance existing supplier training and identify future capability needsAlign with Responsible Operations region teams to train the supplier baseQualifications
Education in BSc/BA or MSc/MBA in Sustainability, Business or related field preferredProven experience in supply chain, procurement, quality or sustainability rolesExperience in designing, developing, and deploying training programs for diverse audiences (onboarding, compliance, continuous improvement)Ability to manage training programs from concept to execution, including timelines, budgets, external vendor management and KPI developmentAbility to work with global suppliers with sensitivity to cultural differences and training adaptabilityDemonstrated expertise in influencing and coaching suppliers to adopt training recommendations and process improvementsExperience in leading large projects in cross-functional environments and centralized service delivery modelsAbility to enable change, enroll and influence othersAbility to connect with audiences from different functional groups and levels of responsibilityAbility to manage multiple priorities, solve problems under pressure, escalate issues as needed, and support leadership with strategic decision-makingLocation and Work Arrangements
