Manage individual contributor engineers who are working on one or more Agile teams in a matrixed environmentDevelop high quality internal and external software solutions with an emphasis on providing team code reviewsCollaborate with research and development teamsRemove roadblocks and ensure timely delivery of product developmentContinuously refine best practices for product releasesStaff, develop, lead and retain a strong team of developersBuild a team culture of learning and continuous improvementGuide and coach the personal development of team membersWho You Are (Soft Skills and Attributes)

Proactive and self-driven, able to identify and solve problems independentlyAdept at balancing strategic planning with detailed execution, ensuring both big-picture objectives and day-to-day needs are addressedPositive, people-oriented, and energetic attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to summarize complex issues effectivelyFluent in both written and spoken EnglishStrong problem-solver with data-driven and innovative approachesExcellent interpersonal and relationship management skillsPlanning, organization, and facilitation skillsAbility to manage and influence others (both within and outside your own direct workgroup)What You Need (Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related field12 or more years of software development experience (C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go)Minimum 4 years of people management, leading results-orientated teams of 5 or moreCI/CD experience in Jenkins or other automation serversUnderstanding of Agile development methodologiesStrong software architecture skills using common design patterns and paradigmsWhat Would Be Nice (Preferred Skills and Experience)

Exposure to machine learningJira automation experienceExperience with Amazon Web ServicesExperience with Go and gRPCExperience leading teams to estimate work accurately and driving to defined milestonesExperience leading software design working sessionsKnown for organized and well-documented development practicesWhat We Provide (Benefits)
