Senior Linux and Infrastructure Automation EngineerLocation: (Canary Wharf/ Hybrid-3 days in a week)Type: Contract (Inside IR 35)The Role in BriefWe are looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator who thrives on high-performance environments and loves automating infrastructure. In this role, you will manage large-scale Linux systems, eliminate manual work with Python and Ansible, and ensure seamless network traffic flow across critical financial systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLinux Systems Admin: Keep core Red Hat / Linux server infrastructure fast, secure, and resilient.Automation: Write clean scripts and playbooks in Python, Bash, and Ansible to automate repetitive tasks and system deployments.Network and Traffic Management: Manage load balancing, SSL, and network traffic across F5 BIG-IP and core TCP/IP infrastructure.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure performance issues under high-pressure conditions.What You NeedDeep Linux Expertise: Expert command-line skills (Red Hat / RHEL preferred).Strong Scripting and Automation: Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, and Ansible (Terraform is a plus).Networking Fundamentals: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL certificate handling, and DNS.Bonus: Prior exposure to F5 BIG-IP or experience in banking/financial services environments.How to ApplyIf you are an experienced Linux Specialist looking for your next challenge, submit your CV/resume today for immediate consideration.Randstad Technologies is acting ..... full job details .....
