-SQL Server DBA -Remote, but must be based in Scotland -Daily Rate - £360 via umbrella -12 months initial contract -ASAP StartBrand new, long-term contract opportunity to the market for a seasoned SQL Server DBA, working on a large-scale project for our public sector client. You will work on a long-term programme of work, designed to upgrade the current digital technology estate - with the anticipated length of this contract up to a maximum of 3 years.This is a remote role; however, candidates must be based in Scotland due to the nature of the assignment. Candidates must also be able to achieve and maintain NPPV3 and Security Clearance (SC).Responsibilities:Proven expertise in a Database Administrator role (SQL Server)Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain database systems and solutionsProvide expert technical guidance to colleagues, stakeholders and customersSupport database systems to ensure availability, performance and SLA complianceManage database security, integrity, and compliance with data standards.Develop, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery proceduresDeploy and configure database solutions into live production environmentsSupport databases and associated tools throughout their full lifecycle.Contribute to database strategy, standards and technology recommendationsThe above is not exhaustive.
