SQL Server DBA

Client: Financial Services Salary: £80,000-£110,000 + Bonus Location: London Skills: SQL Server, Performance Tuning, T-SQL, AlwaysOn, Azure The role: My client are looking to take on an experienced SQL Server DBA to join their team. The ideal candidate will stem from a Financial Services background, and have 5+ years experience. You will be required to be in the office 4 days per week. Responsibilities: Responsible for all Database Management and Administration activities Manage and maintain a large scale SQL Server environment Monitoring, Backups and Restoration of Databases Optimising queries and stored procedures Index optimisation Database health and capacity monitoring Implementing automated alerting Database security best practices Working with Developers Participating in projects Occasionally providing out of hours support where required Core skills required: 5+ years as a SQL Server DBA, ideally within Financial Services Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and newer T-SQL Query optimisation Index management High Availability/Disaster Recovery (AlwaysOn, Clustering etc.) Performance monitoring (Profiler, Extended Events etc.) Desirable skills: SSRS/SSIS/SSAS PowerShell Microsoft Managed SQL Instance (Azure) C# Python Please apply ASAP for more information. ..... full job details .....
