      <description>Location: City of London | Salary: &amp;pound;600 - &amp;pound;650/day | Type: Contract | SQL Engineer (Contract) Inside IR35 - Hybrid working (3 days onsite)  Overview We are seeking an experienced SQL Engineer to support a large scale SQL Server and Windows Server migration programme. The role involves upgrading a significant estate from SQL Server 2016 and SQL Server 2019 to newer, supported versions. With multiple end of life deadlines approaching, this position is critical for ensuring stability, compliance, and long term platform resilience. The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience delivering complex SQL upgrade and migration projects, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a structured programme environment.
