SQL DBA - Data heavy platform within the automotive industry - Hybrid Role - SQL DBAType - Fixed term contract (3 months initially)Salary - 75,000 - 80,000Location - Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office (Victoria, London) / 3 day remote Start - ASAP, need to have the ability to start by 8th AugustSpec -PURPOSE OF POST:Load Testing Plan and ExecutionDataOps practices (CI/CD for schema)Query tuning and execution plan analysisGovernance, auditing, and compliance enforcementWorking with developers to write scalable SQLProactive anomaly detection using Query Store or Extended Events QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED BY JOB HOLDER: Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a DBA for 5+ yearsStrong proficiency with Microsoft SQL ServerExperience with database monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SQL Profiler, Redgate, SolarWinds)Hands-on with performance tuning and optimization (PTO)Experience in backup and recovery best practicesFamiliarity with High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) optionsProficiency in T-SQL scripting and automationExcellent problem-solving and communication skills GCS is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
