SQL Database AdministratorAnnual Salary: 51,250Location: Sunderland, Hybrid (3 days minimum per week based in our Sunderland head office)Job Type: Full-time Day-to-day of the role:High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Configure and maintain solutions like SQL Server Always On Availability Groups to ensure business continuity. Develop and test database backup and recovery procedures.Performance Optimisation: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimise queries, and fine-tune system configurations for optimal performance.Development: Support the development of integration solutions and contribute to improvements and migrations involving both on-premises and cloud technologies.Version Control and Documentation: Manage database scripts and integration code using version control systems.
