A leading fire protection specialist is seeking a Sprinkler Project Manager to join its growing team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to manage high-value sprinkler installation projects, working with major clients while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest industry standards.
The Role As the Sprinkler Project Manager, you''ll:
- Manage the full lifecycle of fire sprinkler projects from handover through to final account.
- Lead project initiation meetings with internal stakeholders including Sales, Design and Commercial teams.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing regular project updates throughout delivery.
- Coordinate on-site labour, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
- Manage project costs, variations, budgets and final accounts to maximise commercial performance.
- Complete project documentation including RAMS, O&M manuals, certification and as-fitted drawings.
- Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks and ensure compliance with health & safety legislation.
- Support internal and third-party audits while driving quality throughout project delivery.
- Proven experience managing sprinkler or fire protection projects within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of BS EN 12845 and LPS1048 standards.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 and Testing & Commissioning Module 2 (or equivalent).
- SMSTS and a valid CSCS Card.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations and project health & safety requirements.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and variations.
- Excellent communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project documentation systems.
- £55,000-£60,000 salary.
- £5,000 car allowance.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy an additional 5 days.
