Spray Painter

Bluearrow are currently recruiting for a full time Spray painter for our established clientKey Responsibilities and Scope of Authority: paint and components using HVLP and air-assisted systems. SMART repairs and cosmetic blow-ins. Sand and refinish exterior body panels and interiors to OEM specifications. Mix paints according to TDS and application requirements (e.g., 2K, basecoat, topcoat).Figures mix ratios in order to mix sealants, filler materials, and paint. Applies primer, top coat paint, and sprayed applied coatings to aircraft parts to assure compliance. Performs straight masking operations. Performs minor filling operations related to the cosmetic appearance of the part being worked. Ability to rub down and prepare surfaces prior to application of paint Must be a team player. To support and drive projects and drive Continuous Improvement activities Flexible to business needs and a requirement to work various shift patterns as required Must be able to learn proper scope of work documentation procedures and working knowledge of parts worked within evaluation period. Responsible for the accomplishment and quality of their own work. Able to safely perform company duties under deadlines and handle multiple priorities whilst ensuring the airworthiness of the product and accuracy of documentation and parts controlPosition Requirements: Previous paint experience in an aircraft manufacturing environment preferred.
