Role: Sports Lecturer (with Public Services)
Location: Merseyside
Contract: Full-time, Temporary - Minimum 6 Months (Maternity Cover)
Rate -3035 per hour
Eden Brown are working with a reputable Further Education College in the Merseyside area who are seeking a committed and dynamic Sports Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.
This role will involve delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across Sport Level 2 and 3, with some additional teaching on Public Services at Level 2.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering and planning lessons across Sport and Public Services curriculum areas
* Supporting learners through their academic journey, both in and out of the classroom
* Assessing student work and contributing to internal quality assurance processes
* Working collaboratively with curriculum teams to ensure outstanding teaching and learning
Requirements:
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
* A relevant degree in Sport or a related field
* Experience teaching Sport at Level 2 and 3, ideally within the Further Education sector
* Confidence or experience delivering Level 2 Public Services content
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
