You''ll help develop and promote sport and physical activity across the city, creating opportunities for everyone to get involved. What you''ll be doing:Helping develop and deliver the council''s Physical Activity and Sports Development StrategyAdvising and supporting clubs and community organisations on structures, governance, facilities and fundingBuilding partnerships to increase participation, particularly among under-represented groupsOrganising and promoting club activities, competitions, workshops and events across the citySeeking and developing partnerships with funding organisationsAssessing grant and funding applications and making recommendationsMonitoring the Sports Development Programme budget and reporting on performance to elected members and managementCreating new and innovative programmes to increase participation in sport and physical activity What you''ll need:A full, current driving licence valid in Northern Ireland and a car available for workEither:a third-level qualification in leisure management, business studies or similar, or full membership of ISRM or CIMSPA, with at least 1 year''s experience in each of the areas below, orat least 2 ..... full job details .....
