Sports Coach / Behaviour Mentor Location: East London Salary: £105 - £120 per day, depending on experience Contract: Full-time We are seeking a dynamic Sports Coach / Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in East London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sports coaching combined with experience in behaviour mentoring within a school setting. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions that cater to the needs of students with SEMH. Use sports as a medium to teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and discipline. Act as a behaviour mentor, providing support and guidance to students, helping them manage their behaviour and emotions effectively. Work closely with teaching staff to integrate physical education with overall student development plans. Monitor and evaluate students'' progress in both sports and behavioural aspects, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents. Develop and implement strategies to engage students who may be resistant to traditional learning methods. Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students, promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sports Coach, ideally within a school environment. Experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or similar role, particularly in an SEMH setting. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH needs. ..... full job details .....
