Sports Coach - Primary School

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and energetic Sports Coach to support a primary school in Northampton on a long-term supply basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate sports professional who enjoys working with children and wants to inspire pupils through high-quality PE and physical activity.

The Role

Position: Sports Coach / PE Coach
Location: Northampton
Contract: Long-term supply
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start: Immediate start available
Year Groups: KS1 and KS2

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping pupils develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of sport.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience coaching or teaching sport to children
Has experience working within a primary school or similar setting
Is confident delivering PE sessions to KS1 and KS2
Can plan and deliver fun, engaging and inclusive activities
Has strong behaviour management skills
Is enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about sport
Can build positive relationships with pupils
Is reliable, professional and adaptable
Holds a relevant sports coaching or PE qualification (desirable)
Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
