About the Role
Smile Education are delighted to be working in partnership with one of our fantastic schools to recruit a part-time Sports Coach. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sport, physical education, and supporting young people in their learning.
As a Sports Coach, you will be delivering engaging PE lessons and leading sporting activities, as well as providing general classroom cover across a range of subjects when required. You will be a confident communicator, able to build positive relationships with students, and bring energy and enthusiasm to every lesson.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality PE sessions that inspire participation and enjoyment.
• Support the planning and delivery of sporting activities across the school.
• Provide general cover for lessons in line with school requirements.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle.

About You

• Previous experience coaching or teaching young people (school or community setting).
• A sports-related qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Flexibility to cover both PE and general lessons.
• Enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
