SpLD Assessor and Support TutorLocation: London Contract: Full-time Permanent Start Date: OctoberAre you a qualified SpLD Assessor looking for a new opportunity in London?We are looking for an experienced SpLD Assessor and Support Tutor to provide specialist assessment and support to students with a range of additional learning needs.The RoleConduct specialist diagnostic assessments for SpLDs.Administer standardised assessments covering reading, writing, maths, cognitive and language skills.Analyse assessment results and produce detailed reports.Identify individual strengths, needs and appropriate support strategies.Provide specialist learning support and tutoring.Manage Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) from referral through to confirmation.Work closely with students, parents, teaching staff and support professionals.Provide advice and guidance around SpLDs and effective support strategies.Maintain accurate assessment and support records.Keep up to date with relevant professional practice and legislation.About YouWe are looking for someone who has:Level 7 SpLD qualification.Current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC).Experience conducting specialist diagnostic assessments.Experience supporting students with SpLDs and additional learning needs.Strong knowledge of Exam Access Arrangements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.A passionate, engaging and student-focused approach.Interested? ..... full job details .....
