This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.Due to increased workload within the department, our client now has a requirement for a Spindle Build Engineer .Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak. Job Description The Role The role is to repair broken Mazak spindles to new standards and will involve various assembly tasks related to spindle build such as:Precision measuring of spindle components.Precision assembly and adjustment related to Mazak work instructions.Carrying out various quality checks during the assembly process involving precision equipment such as micrometers, test bars, dial test indicators, clamp force and axial force gauges.Balancing of spindle cartridges.Electrical checks of stators (new and re-used/repaired) to ensure conformance to standard Mazak check sheets.Some electrical assembly work is required however the role is mainly mechanically focused.
