We are seeking a dedicated therapist to join a specialist educational setting, supporting pupils with Autism, learning disabilities, communication difficulties, SEMH needs, and complex learning profiles. Working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, you will help pupils develop the communication skills needed to access learning, build relationships, and achieve greater independence. The Role You will: Manage and prioritise your own caseload. Carry out speech, language, and communication assessments. Deliver tailored one-to-one, group, and classroom-based interventions. Develop and review individual communication programmes. Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, and multi-disciplinary meetings. Create communication resources, including visual supports and Social Stories. Promote a Total Communication approach across the setting. Support the use of AAC and assistive communication technologies. Provide advice, guidance, and training to staff, families, and carers. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
