About the Role:
- Provide focused speech and language therapy interventions tailored to pupils with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to embed therapy within classroom activities
- Assess, design, and regularly review individual therapy programmes
- Keep thorough records and actively contribute to EHCP planning and review processes
- Deliver training and support to school staff on communication strategies and the use of AAC tools
The ideal candidate will:
- Registered with HCPC and holds a recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Experience working within educational settings, including mainstream or SEN schools
- In-depth knowledge of SEN, with a focus on communication disorders, autism, and developmental delays
- Proficient in AAC and alternative communication methods
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with others
