Speech and Language Therapist / SEN School / Term Time Only

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a leading SEN School who are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the team in Cranleigh, Surrey.In this role, you will be supporting around 18 students age 5-19, with severe social communication difficulties and complex learning disabilities, many with autism. With your compassion and guidance, you will help them achieve the greatest possible level of independence and communication skills relative to their complex needs and help prepare them for life beyond school or college.You will: Devise, develop and implement therapy for individuals and small groups of studentsManage your own caseload of students (approx. 18), setting targets for them on a termly basisAssess students on admission and for annual reviewsSupervise the work of Therapy AssistantsBe given regular supervision, mentoring and 1:1 supportHours: Monday to Thursday: 3 days per week 08:15-17:00 + 1 day per week 08:15-19.30Friday:08:15-16:00This is a term time only role and we are open to flexibility, including part time hours.
