Speech and Language Therapist Specialist SEMH School Rural West Sussex Part-Time 3 Days per Week Term Time Only Salary: £31,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications) We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist SEMH and SEND school in rural West Sussex. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support children and young people with a range of communication needs, including: Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Other neurodivergent profiles This is a unique opportunity to work within a nurturing educational environment where communication, emotional wellbeing and positive relationships are at the heart of everything we do. The Role As Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in creating and promoting a communication-supportive learning environment across the whole school. Working closely with teaching staff, families and therapeutic colleagues, you will assess, identify and support learners'' communication needs through a blend of direct intervention, consultation and collaborative working. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of pupils with a wide range of communication needs. Conduct holistic, strengths-based assessments. Develop and implement tailored intervention plans.
