Speech and Language Therapist Location: Oldbury, Birmingham Hours: 7.5 hours per week Rate: £21.54 per hourWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist adult care provider for a Speech and Language Therapist to support individuals within a well-established locked rehabilitation service in Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, structured setting with adults who have a range of needs including learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions (ASC), and mental health diagnoses.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact in a clinical environment designed to help individuals achieve improved communication and independence. The Setting The service is a registered hospital with 13 en-suite bedrooms and 2 transitional flats, supporting men who may be detained under the Mental Health Act or subject to deprivation of liberty safeguards. The focus is on structured rehabilitation in a safe and therapeutic environment.Located in a quiet residential area with free staff parking and excellent transport links to Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and Dudley, the setting offers a positive working environment with accessible amenities.
