Speech and Language Therapist Band 6

We are currently looking for a Speech and Language Therapist Band: 6 The Liverpool Community Learning Disability Team supports adults with learning disabilities across Liverpool who experience significant barriers to accessing mainstream adult health services. Within the team, Speech and Language Therapists provide specialist assessment and intervention for individuals referred for dysphagia management, as well as specialist communication assessments and interventions. This locum Specialist Speech and Language Therapist post is primarily focused on supporting the dysphagia pathway. Responsible for undertaking dysphagia assessments and reviews, managing a primarily dysphagia caseload, and completing full episodes of care. This includes developing and documenting management plans, providing appropriate recommendations, and ensuring their implementation and ongoing review in line with clinical standards and governance requirements. Must have completed relevant postgraduate dysphagia training and possess sufficient clinical experience to independently manage a dysphagia caseload. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable. ..... full job details .....
