Working closely with teaching staff and Speech and Language Therapists, you will help students develop their communication skills, confidence and independence both inside and outside of the classroom.The RoleProvide 1:1 and small group support to students with speech, language and communication needs.Support the implementation of Speech and Language Therapy programmes and interventions.Encourage the development of functional communication skills using a range of communication methods and resources.Help students access learning across the curriculum.Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other professionals to support individual learning targets.Foster a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.Promote students'' social, emotional and communication development.The Ideal CandidateExperience ..... full job details .....
