The Role - Speech & Language Teaching Assistant
Seeking a patient and proactive Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-18 with speech, language and communication needs. You will work closely with teachers and speech and language therapists to deliver targeted interventions, support communication strategies and help pupils access the curriculum. The role involves running small group sessions, supporting 1:1 interventions, implementing SALT programmes and promoting communication, confidence and engagement within a structured classroom environment.
