Job Title: Specification TechnologistSalary: 30,000 - 32,000Location: SuffolkPermanent Mon - FriIn this Specification Technologist position you will be responsible for: Generate and maintain accurate raw material and finished product specifications, managing the end-to-end specification process across customer platforms and internal documentation systems.Act as the first point of contact for customer specification queries, ensuring requests are resolved efficiently while maintaining compliance with retailer and regulatory requirements.Prioritise and manage workload effectively, adapting to changing business needs to ensure customer deadlines and expectations are consistently met.Support the wider Technical and Quality teams, contributing to food safety, legality and quality standards across all products and processes.Assist in maintaining site certifications and customer approvals, playing an active role in external audits including BRCGS, customer and regulatory visits.Ensure all product specifications contain accurate legislative and compliance information, safeguarding product integrity and due diligence.Contribute to supplier approval processes, reviewing technical documentation and specifications to ensure food safety, legal and quality standards are met.Build strong technical relationships with customers and suppliers, providing technical guidance and supporting traceability exercises and audit activities when required.The above list is not exhaustive and due to the ..... full job details .....
